PREPARING FOR POST-PRODUCTION
Say wha? Well, you can never start too early. And since the hiatus has been protracted I have gotten around to doing some heavy work in the 3D models needed in the film. The model for the Crazy Carl Demon is ready for rigging--and then I just need to composite it in to one of the pick-up scenes shot last fall. That scene begins the ending sequence after the climax of Act IV (still yet to be shot, and will contain substantial CG also). I have also nearly completed the 3D model of Maria Olsen, for the Hatchet Lady morphs. Just gotta do her hair. There are two models that will be used, actually. One has her as an unassuming ghost, and the other is as the Moon Creek Cemetery maniac demon. That will be a great morph. And I've also been working on finishing the third attempt on the model of the Death Angel statue's wing. Once that is rigged and imaged (or imaged and rigged), I will begin compositing a great sequence involving Crazy Carl at the halfway house (filmed during the original shoot). Oh, snap! Gotta finish the cop car, too (close to done with all the parts and patching on that. Much of the other models are ready for rigging or compositing, such as the devil. So, a great deal is and has been done. And I'm keepin' at it. Words of encouragement would be appreciated. Thanks!
